NEURO Linguistic Programming (NLP)

What is NLP?

NLP IS an abbreviation for Neuro Linguistic Progamming.

NLP focuses on the connections between how people think (Neuro) How they communicate  with self and others (Linguistic) and their ways of behaving (Programs).

NLP is the ability to affect or change the nervous system through the use of language.

NLP began by studying and modelling the behaviours of a few people who demonstrated excellence in a given field, then teaching their modelled techniques to others.   This process is called behavioural modelling and is devoted the discovery of the process through which BEHAVIOURAL EXCELLENCE is achieved. It asks the questions

“How does a person do excellent behaviour?

“What does a person do with their nervous system to produce excellent results in a chosen field”?

The second part of the process takes this wealth of information and uses a methodology to install the very processes of excellence into another’s nervous system.

These fields include every area of human endeavour: - Sports, business, relationships, emotional wellbeing, teaching, or an area unique to the individual.

What to expect in an NLP session

The process is usually 1.5hrs.  Between 1 to 3 sessions will usually be enough to achieve a given result. This is dependent on the client’s desired outcome and their present starting point.
